The product: Reformation launches Ref Active, it’s first activewear collection.
Why we love it: Los Angeles-based clothing brand Reformation is getting into the activewear game with a new collection called Ref Active.
The collection features several workout-wear designs including leggings, shorts, tank tops and more, in a pretty palette of hues. The collection is split into two categories — EcoMove, billed as being suitable for high-intensity workouts, and EcoStretch, for more “leisurely activities,” according to the brand — each made further distinguishable by the unique, eco-minded textile used to create it.
“Our first-ever Ref Active collection introduces two new fabrications, EcoMove and EcoStretch. Made from Repreve fibres, these fabrics use 100-per-cent, post consumer, recycled plastic bottles, and are (Global Recycled Standard) and Oeko-Tex Certified,” Kathleen Talbot, chief sustainability officer and vice-president of operations at Reformation, explains of the designs.
“Our fabrics are also 100-per-cent traceable, from plastic waste to polyester, due to traceable fibre-print certified technology. Traceability of the raw materials, the mill and the manufacturing facility is critical so we can ensure responsible practices each step of the way.”
The price: $68-$168.
